Advantage of Ston is its proximity to all amenities: Dubrovnik and Korcula (50 km), National Park Mljet (3 km to the port), Medugorje, Mostar, etc. Ston is at beginning of the Peljesac Peninsula, so definitely need to mention that peninsula is a wine region with well-known varieties of red and white wines, as well as the famous Plavac Mali and its cuisine: oysters and mussels, which are their natural habitat found just in the bay of Mali Ston.
