Our beautiful house is located in the northwest of Istria, in a village called Kastel (Castelvenere), near the border between Slovenia and Croatia, 140 meters above the Secovlje saltworks and in the immediate vicinity of the Adriatic Sea. You can enjoy in a house of 177m2, which is on a plot of 1000m2 with a swimming pool (25m2) and an outdoor tavern with a grill, and is surrounded by a large garden with various fruit trees such as cherry, fig, pear, pomegranate, grapes You can consume fresh (different fruits grow depending on the time of your stay). The house has two floors. On the ground floor, there is a large indoor gathering space where you can enjoy yourself with your family and friends with a glass of wine, beer, and enjoy amazing food prepared in the kitchen or in an indoor fireplace. The room contains an internal fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a large table for 8 people with a living area. We are sure that you will enjoy our house, where the entire ground floor (inside and outside - all connected) is made for enjoying your time spent in our house. On the first floor, there is an apartment with four rooms, a bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room with a dining area, and a large terrace with panoramic views, where you can enjoy the view and your morning coffee.

Buje  - Coat of Arms Buje is a picturesque small town in Istria, Croatia. It is located in the northwest of the Istrian peninsula, near the border with Slovenia, and only ten kilometers away from the sea and the tourist town of Umag. The old town has developed on top of the hill and it offers panoramic views over the Istrian peninsula. It has been historically known as a guard of Istria. Buje has a long and rich history, it was inhabited by ancient Histri, after them Romans, and in the 7th century, Croatians and Italians. A small fortress is situated on the top of the hill. The castle was first mentioned in the 10th century as Castrum Bugle, which was then under the administration of the Patriarchate of Aquileia. At the beginning of the 15th century, Buje came under Venetian rule, under which it remained until the end of the 18th century. The following century and a half it was under Austrian rule, and finally, after World War 2 was merged into Croatia. Today Buje has about 5,000 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in agriculture, olive oil and wine production, and crafts. Recently, tourism started developing thanks to the vicinity to the sea, beautiful nature and rich cultural and historical heritage. Friendly hosts offer accommodation in small family-run hotels, apartments, rooms and holiday homes. In the old town, you can visit a parish church of St. Servul with a bell tower from the 15th century, which offers an unforgettable view of the entire northwest region of Istria.
