Welcome! -DESCRIPTION OF THE CITY- Bjelovar is a quiet town in central Croatia with a rich history and green parks. The city of Bjelovar is also the center of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County and the Bjelovar-Križevac Diocese. It lies on a vast plateau on the southern slopes of Bilogora in northwestern Croatia. It is the economic, cultural and political center of the region with a population of 50,000. Altitude: 133 m. It is one of the youngest cities in Croatia, founded in 1756 by the decision of the Austro-Hungarian empress Maria Theresa. One of the interesting things is the one that was built as a training ground and has a street with a regular square structure in the center of the city. Among the historical sights, we recommend the baroque cathedral of St. Teresa of Avila, built in the 18th century and the largest stone pavilion in Europe in the central park. Due to the very fertile land and wooded hills of Bilogora, the population is mainly engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry. Úžasný pobyt so srdcom!
V apartmáne Matea sme boli v priebehu dvoch mesiacov už druhýkrát. Ako cestou k moru na 2 noci, tak aj cestou od mora na 1 noc. Nezvládol by som s celou rodinou šoférovať napriamo až domov. Matea je presne v strede našej cesty. Apartmán je voňavý, priestranný a luxusný. Čakala nás chladnička plná nealko a alko nápojov, dezerty a pochutiny. Toto sme ešte nezažili. Hygienické potreby aké si len viete predstaviť (ak vám niečo zachybne, určite dobrotu majiteľov netreba zneužívať). Parkovanie za bránou, chránené kamerami, neuveriteľne priestranná záhrada, altánok, gril. Bjelovar je mesto, ktoré má čo ponúknuť minimálne na 3-4 dni a Záhreb je vzdialený necelú hodinu. Majitelia sú ľudia s dobrým srdcom. Ďakujeme. Vždy, keď budeme blízko prídeme zase!
