The bigger Dalmatic cities organize in the second half of August evenings with live music (a capella). Go for a relaxing walk to the centre of Vodice. You can exploit the park by bout or take a longer walk, however, do not forget your bathing suit and towel, because you will miss an unforgettable experience in the pools of the river Krka. If you want to go swimming the nearest pebbly and rocky beaches are about 3 km away easily reachable by bus or a bike. The bus stop is just next to the house. There are plenty of other beaches within 10-15 km. However, staying in Bakar is meant for those people who are not primarily interested in sunbathing but rather in sightseeing, trekking, cycling, peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a small town.
